CatintheHat Posted May 18, 2001 Share Posted May 18, 2001 Does anyone know if it really matters much between a 4.1 and a 5.1 system if the 4.1 system can create a "Phantom" center. I know that this "Phantom" center will only be for the person sitting in the 'sweet spot' but wouldnt that also be true for true 5.1? If you aren't watching movies the center is basically worthless, not used for games or music. Or at least it shouldn't be. Hey Seb, I love the tag line.
