No Disc
Noticed that one before.... decent price. Someone, anyone, need a decent pre-amp? Get this one. You will enjoy it. If you don't like.... heh, you can sell it for what you paid later down the line. - tb
NOSValves
I just noticed something that struck me as strange ! Why would they use Gold RCA's on everything except the Outputs ? Craig
mobile homeless
http://www.progressive-engineering.com/klipsch/ae3_djh.jpg This is a great preamp. I dont think you'll hear any arguments. IF you want, see the various threads in this forum. Craig, those are Kimber Silver RCA jacks and Cary was very high on them as an upgrade. I have a pair on my outputs, CD input, and phono input. Do they make a differnce? Well, I think so when running the solid silver Kimber 4AG wire as hookup wire, which I have on the phono, CD, TKD stepped attenuator, and outputs. These are extremely nice RCAs. But ultimately, I dont know if I would go through the trouble and expense to do this again (I got the mod for free). The fact this example includes these RCA is just an extra perk (you can tighten this RCA from the inside easily). kh

mobile homeless
Nice spot, Guy. I do believe this is actually the stock AE-3 and not the DJH with tube rectification and oils. It's still a good pre but I think it worth going for the DJH. These go down to $350 or so usually. He appears to be asking a hefty price for just the two sets of outputs upgrade. kh
Guy Landau
Kelly, He has just revised his listing from signature to upgraded. The original listing was for AE3 Signature.
mobile homeless
Heh...he probably got a TON of calls for that low price if the loons thought he had the Signature model. Stir crazy!
