lynnm
One of our members recently found himself eyeball to eyeball with Aural Thrills over a cable he'd had them make for his Oracle turntable. He maintained that the cable was too stiff and that Aural Thrills had initially offered a refund but later rescinded the offer and there was also an exchange of hostile emails between them. Is this the incident you refer to ?
JohnA
Yes, Lynn, Thanks! I've talked Cobalt Cable (www.cobaltcable.com) into making a set of db25 to 8 RCA plugs for my upgraded ACT-3 so I can listen to DVD-A. I wanted to make sure they were not the ones before I ordered. i don't wnat that kind of hassle.
formica
John... were you not the one who DIY some speaker CAT5 cables? Surprised you aren't doing the same with the db25-RCA given it's easier on the fingers... I may re-build one myself from belden stock this winter... i guess i'm cheap...
