TheEAR Posted October 29, 2003 Share Posted October 29, 2003 Today I had the chance to see,and hear Paradigm's new Signature series speakers.BTW I am buying a pair,iwth tyhe Signature Servo 2500 sub. First of all the finish quality and parts quality is second to none,rivaling Dynaudio Contour and dare I say Confidence line.In all aspects,be it cabinet rigidity,finish quality and driver quality. From the gorgeous bird eye maple glossy real wood finish you can clearly see Paradigm moved two full steps forward in quality. After a short audition its clear the Signature series rivals Dynaudio's Contour series in overall sound quality and simply mashes the Studio series.If a rating had to be given the Signature 20 scores a 9/10,the Dynaudio Special 25 a 10/10(remember the Special 25 minimonitors cost $5000 and the Signature 20 a mere $1800-2000). Driven my Sunfire amp/preamp combo the sound could only be described as smooth,detailed and so spacious. Also anyone who is shopping for high end should give the Signature series a serious audition.These best quite a few high end brands,for less! I've read a couple other comments from people who've heard them and all they say are "The Sigs are a waste of money, just fancy looking Studios," blah blah blah. I personally can't wait to hear them. Freak Nasty Posted April 16, 2004 Share Posted April 16, 2004 Hey Ears, If i were to chose between the Signature Sub and the Martin Logan Descent or Depth sub which one do you think would be better.
