As we grow older we come so much closer to these situations that in the past were never considered. I understand what you are going through and I am sure that you are the level headed one that all will turn to. Consider that something of value although a burden at times. You are the best one to make it all work out, as apparently do others within the family. Take charge, storm ahead it make it all work out. My family, both grandparents on my side, are going through the same exact thing. One grandmother recently put in a assisted living home. The other grandfather 91 years old and the uncle's honing in like vultures. Try and keep the holiday spirit and call at anytime if you need to bend an ear or just vent. You have the number.
