whell
http://www.dakiom.com/ Saw this on Audiogon and hopped over to their web page. It seems to be an active circuit that "corrects" problems that are some believe are inherent in RCA incterconnects. Interesting that they are selling it for about $100 on Audiogon, but of you hop to their web site you can get a set of them for $57! P.S. The title of the post should be "snake oil". 3dzapper
It looks like a passive trap of some kind. Depending on the frequency it is tuned for it could degrade the transients. If it were such a great idea, amp manufacturers would be beating down thier doors to license the circuit for use in thier products. But, Snake Oil for only $57 a bottle? Cheap. Daddy Dee
Just look at what it does for such a bargain price: Clearer Sounds, Full of Texture - Tight, Solid, Thundering Bass ** Not Noisy or Boomy ** - Listen to music at high volume levels with much less distortion - Musical Melodies and Rhythms from Instruments and Vocals ** Not Blurred or Confused **

Soundthought
I wonder how many snakes you'd have to sqeeze to fill a 1 oz. bottle?
gunman45
We had a vendor come in and try to sell us something that looked exactly like this unit and it was supposed to stop electrolysis when two different types of metals are fastened together. The price was $495.00 for the unit and he had a briefcase full of affidavits from satisfied customers. The dink gave us one to try and when we opened up the outside cover there were just wires terminating into a block of cast lexan. Thats it; it was just short lengths of 16 gauge wires with the ends cast in a block of clear plastic. The sick part is we knew some of the satisfied customers and when we called them and told them about it they got really indignant and said we did not know what we were talking about and the product worked as advertised! It was clear plastic for Christ sakes!!!!
