Tom Adams Posted February 16, 2004 Share Posted February 16, 2004 Do any of you know where I can get my hands on one of those small snake-like lights like what is used on mixer boards? I would like to have some illumination of my equipment in my HT A/V rack but I don't want it to be bothersome when the room is darkened. I hope this make sense. michaelstano Posted February 16, 2004 Share Posted February 16, 2004 Not sure if it would work for you, but I am using rope light inside my gear closet. Nice, soft, evenly-dispersed light. Not harsh or glarey like a light bulb. My single strand is vertical, but a shorter length could be horizontal, on the bottom of a shelf. With an x10 controller, it can be dimmed.
