m00n
Stop it... When that comes out, I will be depressed because there is something new that I don't have. Lets not wish depression upon ourselves too quickly.
wheelman
It looks like kef with a horn in it.
wheelman
That grain is awesome! I would love them in black but still beable to see that grain. Something like a transparent black with an ash finish like on guitars.
T_Shomaker
How much will these things cost?
wheelman
probally more than the rf-7. It probally will be the new rf-7two or something. It's really nice but i like the rf-7 looks just as good. I really don't care for that graphite front look.
007
I also love the glass bass, and how the speaker is bolted to it.
MrMcGoo
The Premier Reference speaker is sitting on plexiglass. Its base has adjustable carpet spikes. The carpet spikes on my RF-7s are not easy to adjust. The possible new line of speakers should not only look good, but should sound good as well. wheelman
Man that is some funny stuff 007. I damn near died. I am sorry but that was funny.
prodj101
I don't like the looks of it.....a little too flashy for me, I prefer the looks of the current RF series.
tankhokie
yup, the wood on this is really nice looking, but overall i have to agree with proj....this looks like what i imagine coming out of a white van. please don't ban me for that comment... i think there is a sort of refined beauty in the 7's but the trend in speaker making is like the fashion industry, so i guess it will make for good marketing and higher waf in the long run
prodj101
eh, it's just a little too busy for me. it looks more like a toy than it does a real speaker. depending on the price I would look at other manufactures just because of how little I like it's looks. wheelman
Yeah it's that graphite look or something that makes it look like cheesy plastic. Put the grill on it i bet it looks good then. I would rather have the front pure black.
prodj101
I would rather have the front not molded plastic.
Swerv
I think it looks very nice, but hey, what do I know. It does look very expensive though, Could this possibly be a new flagship? It kinda looks like it has phase plugs but It could be just the design of the dust cap.
Bill H.
This topic was covered right after the CES show...............When/if they come out they Will be placed as another level above the RF7 . The price discussed was about 4,200.00 for the pair.................

007
Definitely more of the modern look, You can see this in the new RSX line and the GMX. Even the pro media ultras started to take on this new unique look. I like it, Its breaking out of the mold of this box era. I mean klipsch speakers look great, but a lil design could never hurt. I like a dust caps and the baffle aint that bad either. That's probably not real wood, but who cares, it looks better. I like the rounded back too.
