The MARYLAND TERRAPINS, after being down 21 points in the 2nd half, rallied to beat NC State today in the semifinals of the ACC tournament, securing a spot in the NCAA tournament, maybe even a decent seed. I know the majority of you couldn't care less but it was one of those emotional sports moments in the GaryMD household and in my excitement I posted as do others occasionally when their home team wins a sporting event. In that time period they beat at least 7 ranked teams and upset Duke to win the ACC. First time since '84 with Len Bias. Pretty cool. Of course Duke still gets a #1 seed and they probably deserve it. Still hate em. Happy to see MD, one of the youngest teams in the country with only 1 senior and mostly sophmores running the team, get that #4. I just hope they have some energy left for next week.
