NOSValves
Man I'm amazing !! I won't go any further with this post but I'm sure many will know what I'm talking about if they think back about 3 weeks. Craig
bkrop
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah... I used a paper clip to bypass an impact relay to the fuel pump in a car for six years!

bkrop
What happened after six years? I gave it to my mechanic who drove it until the body completely rusted out!(4 more years)

Champagne taste beer budget
Necessity is the Mother of Invention? It's often amazing what you can accomplish when you have to. Look at the Apollo 13 launch. (I think that was it, no?) p.s. Whatever you do, don't substitute a .22 L.R. cartridge for a fuse in your car!!! Although you DO have my curiosity up now, Craig. Could you at least give us a link to the 3 week old thread?

Let me guess: If you had replaced the transformer, it *still* wouldn't have worked without that 15 cent resistor, correct?
sheltie dave
Just like that guy, when queried as to what he would use from now on, if he needs another fuse. All you need to do is make sure the bullet is pointed toward the radiator, and you won't have any problem. I love reading about the Darwin awards every so often. You know all to well that you have to look to the simple things first to find the answer 99% of the time. Didn't we just stumble onto something like this with a amp of yours Craig
