jeffgeorge
I am going back to my roots and getting back into the Hereitage line, but some of the Heresy's I am looking at have serial #'s that I am unfamiliar with. I thought that all the pre-Heresy II serial #'s had a letter designation the year in which they were made. These I am looking at don't have letters and they are not HII's. Couple of examples: 605597 & 605598 8421111 & 8421112 Who can shed some light for me?
Frzninvt
The format changed over from letters to numbers in 1984, the Heresy's with the S/N's that start with 84 are from 1984. On the other S/N's that you provided I would bet that the third number is not a "5" but the letter "S" which would date them from 1978. 1983 was the last year the Alpha characters were used. JohnA
Add to that, that the non-letter SN Heresies are also known as H1.5s since they have the HII squawker.
