2ndGenKlipsch
I purchased a pair of Forte II a couple of weeks ago and I got a GREAT deal on them, but they didn't come with the risors. I was just wondering if any Forte owners out there aren't using theirs and wouldn't mind parting with them for the right price. BTW...my Forte's are Oak. ironwoods
Hi, if you find no takers, they don't seem all that hard to DIY.
2ndGenKlipsch
Yeah, if I can't find any factory risers, I may attempt to build some on my own.
Olorin
I would think a cabinet shop could do it if you didn't want to take it on yourself.
busterfree
Do you have to have wood? You might be better served with spiked feet and no wooden base. I was in the same position some time ago. I went with a custom base from soundanchors.com. Looking back, I would have rather went with spikes. It is cheaper, and you do not have to wait for bases to be built. (I do like my bases thought.) Check out a few sites for spikes: audiopoints.com or mapleshaderecords.com.
