Mighty Favog
I think the oldest ones we have in our family are from my Grandmother's Ediphone (can't remember the model but I think it something like a model 3). It needs needles, those steel pencil lead looking things and a main spring (It's my brother's so I'll let him deal with it.) But I'm sure there's some old slate records in there from the 20's, 30's or 40's.
fini
I think I have a "Captain & Tenille" album, from back when he was just a deck hand. It had the song, "Muskrat Like."
Lon Armstrong
The oldest stuff I listen to are the Original Dixieland Jazz Band sides from 1917 and upwards. I actually listen to quite a bit of music from the twenties and thirties, I love that period!
Tom Adams
fini quipped: "I think I have a "Captain & Tenille" album, from back when he was just a deck hand. It had the song, "Muskrat Like." I dunno fini...my wife started playing her Nawlins' Mardi Gras CD the other day and I said, "Honey...that's getting old. Really old."
