artto
Who makes the tubes with the star on it? I don't see any name on it, just a graphic that looks kind of like a shooting star. In this case I'm referring to some 6N3P.
dodger
I have seen Chinese tubes of unstated manufacturer like that. White box. Sorry to be of little help. dodger

artto
On my 6N3P (size of a 12AX7) the silk screening is white/gray. Theres some vertical lines above the star on one side. They are stock tubes in the Chinese made Shanling SCD-T200 SACD player I recently bought and IMO sound better (and take less warm up time) than the Western Electric 396A and GE 5670W JAN's that are part of Underwood HiFi's upgrade of this unit. I want to buy more of these. Do you still think these are Sovtek?
