homemadeheresy
Started on my Belle project. Went last week and got some mdf, had it cut up and drug it home. Was only able to get the bass bin on one done so far, but had the itch to try it out. Unscrewed the back of one of my homemade Heresy(HMH) and drove the bass bin with the woofer output from my type E crossover. I initially was worried that the bin might not sound good with that high of a crossover point. I was wrong, It sounded excellent. Listened to some SCI, and that stand-up bass sounded like it was right in front of me. If you closed you eyes and thought about it hard enough, you could picture a huge piece of tuned wood with some one there pickin away. Haven't decided whether or not to just finish the MDF cabinets or round up enough oak to put together a pair that are as nice as they sound. Sorry no pictures right now, camera is on the blink.
