Born2RockU Posted August 19, 2004 Share Posted August 19, 2004 I am thinking of getting a Yamaha RX-V3300 receiver....Does any one out there have one of these Yamaha's, to reassure me I am doing the right thing. I am getting rid of my Denon 3802 on EBay, if anyone is interested ! (It's the only Denon 3802 up on the EBay site, if ya wanna look) I was also thinking of getting a Harman . I believe Q-MAN and Griffinator are also fans of similar products. That having been said, your ears are the critic you are most concerned about. I am comfortable with my recommendations thus far and I understand you plight here. There are a lot of folks who like the Yamaha sound and equal portions that dont, this applies to any receiver - amplifier/speaker combo. My assessment of Yamaha has changed over the years. I was an ardent opponent of any Klipsch/Yamaha marriage back in the 80s and early 90s and as you can tell my opinion has since changed. I tell you this not to cloud your decision or make it any more difficult, but simply to make you aware our opinions are not yours and you have to let your ears make the judgment.
