DoubleJ
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=32861&item=5717703433&rd=1 Sorry!!! Very poor use of cut and paste Just asking because the Serial #'s look sort of fishy compared to my RF-3 system and also my KLF-30's. Thanks JJ
tripod
Yes, they were probably sold by an internet site offering their own warranty service in place of Klipsch's. They remove the Klipsch serial number label and put their own on with a simple label maker. The worthless things aren't even on straight! That is, the labels are worthless, the speakers are probably fine.
J.4knee
No doubt, I would not touch them.
troostj
" I wouldnt touch them" Why is that? Have you ever bought Klipsch Reference speakers of the web and compared them to speakers bought at a store? I bought both my mains RF-3 thru the web, and got the rest of my speakers at 50% of at tweeter (due to the "new" RF-3II line with internal z-wiring coming out) and there is absolutely no difference. It would be a steal for whoever gets those for a good price they wont get the warranty, but the speakers are made robust.

Some speakers coming from Klipsch will be damaged. If you get one of those, depending on the place, you very well may be screwed. YMMV
Pako
They seem like *used* to me. Anytime you buy *used* there is ALWAYS a change you are not getting what your paying for. If you get the entire set for a fair price for *used* speakers....then your getting your money's worth. Good luck!
