aviserated
I very much enjoy my AQ1003DT also with my carefully placed SF Grand Piano Home loudspeakers. Distance from rear wall is critical when balancing the high and low freqencies to even out the sound. When my speakers sat away from the rear wall and closer to me, the sound was too bright. But the closer I moved them to the rear wall and away from me, they sounded more natural(sweet spot). If I moved them too close to rear wall the sound would become too boomy. Since this integrated comes with no tone controls, this is the only method for bass and treble adjustment. I have four different kinds of speakers that I enjoy experimenting with. So far the GPH's sound best with my AQ1003DT. But I still love my Forte's with the B&K combo.
Marvel
DECWare has a six input switch box to add inputs to single input preamps or for pres that only have a couple inputs. It is right at $120. Steel box, looks like gold plated connectors, etc. This would be great for someone with a lot of line sources.
