Moderators dtel Posted January 26, 2005 Moderators Share Posted January 26, 2005 I am dtel's wife. Just wanted to let all of you know that he is such a special dad. Our oldest daughter, (we have three) wanted to buy her dad a new television. Him and our two grandchildren had been saving "pennies" for a "big TV" as the three and four year old call it. The grandchildren had been collecting pennies from around the house, the floor of Wal-Mart, their great grandma and anywhere else they could find pennies. Well, we made the purchase last night, of course we had not saved nearly enough pennies. LOL A 65" Toshiba with all the "perks". And for all of you out there WAF is "Whatever daddy wants, daddy gets!" Really, he is so thrilled, as we say "You couldn't slap the smile off of his face." LOL Actually, we all got tired of seeing the tape measure go across the existing television to show us what size he wanted his new TV to be... Not really, he's a great dad and a great husband and he really does get whatever he wants. Will post again when I get more time. Quite a story to tell about BB, (where we purchased the TV) and a few of their "salesmen". You all can congratulate him now if you like.
