tigerwoodKhorns
I have an opportunity to buy an MFA Magus Preamp ($500) and Audio Research VT-60 Power amp ($1800) locally. The guy also has a set of Walnut Chorus speakers for $750. Because I know Klipsch prices, it seems that he is asking a lot for the equipment. What can you guys tell me about the MFA Magus Preamp and Audio Research VT-60 Power amp? What should they cost, are they superior to my vintage Scott LK-48, etc? How do they copmpare to the Blueberry and VRD's, etc. Thanks, Chris Edit: I just found teh Audio research amp on Audiogon for $850. This guy is way too high. I can let him sit on it for a while. I still want to know what you guys think.

J M O N
I have the ARC VT-50 and it's a very nice amp. I've never heard the VT-60, but I think the price is on the high side. Check prices on Audiogon and E-bay.
