myram
Ok all......I have given up on looking for a pair of KSP-S6 at a reasonable price. So now I have decided to stick to small direct bookshelf speakers for my rears and rear surrounds. Since I got the AVR-4800 and have the POA-5200.....I have decided to look around for some speakers to add. I am looking for either KG .5's or KG 1.5's. Finish would preferably be Black or Walnut and the condition must be excellent, with the original box and owners manual being a bonus. Since I already have a pair of KG .5's.....another pair would be perfect or a pair of KG 1.5's. So if you have any of the above and want to sell them, send me either a PM or email at myram@angelfire.com . Mike Lindsey
myram, That's great! I'm curious how you're running the 5200? Are you using it for your mains or rear surrounds? If it is for the mains, how does 2-channel sound versus the 4800? I'm asking because I have the 4800 as well... myram
Mike......I just got the 5200 yesterday and only hooked it up last night. I have it running my fronts since I have those set to large they will require more power then the other speakers. I am going to compare it when I get some free time, but I am going to assume that there won't be much of a difference.....if there is I hope it is a positive one. erdric......thanks, I might be making a trip down to your neck of the woods this weekend to get them. The person also has a KV3 for sale for $200, sounds like a good deal :-) ------------------ Klipsch Quartets - fronts Klipsch Academy - center Klipsch KG 1.5's - rear surrounds Klipsch KG .5's - side rear surrounds Klipsch KSW12 subwoofer Denon AVR-4800 Denon POA-5200 THX Amp (fronts) Sony C-67ES CD Player JVC 36D201 36" TV JVC HR-S3600 SVHS Player JVC XV-M565BK DVD Player Scientific Atlanta Explorer 2100 Digital Cable box Playstation 2 Monster Power HTS-2000 MIT Speaker Cable RS HT Gold Interconnects Monster S-Video, Component, and Optical cables This message has been edited by myram on 08-31-2001 at 01:58 PM
