Audible Nectar
For SHOW quality and excellent remastering: The Grateful Dead Movie The Closing of Winterland For more modern videos and sound, try View From the Vault 1-4....but the above two are MUST OWNS. dragonfyr
By all means check out the "American Beauty" & "Workingman's Dead" DVD-A's remastered by Mickey Hart. It's surround done right. And the albums present perhaps the biggest improvement I have heard from ANY project!
garymd
As far as concerts go, The Closing Of Winterland seems to be the best quality and I have them all. The most fun to watch may be the original Grateful Dead Movie. Grateful Dawg is also very good but it's Garcia/Grisman and not the Dead. Still highly recommended if you haven't seen it. The soundtrack is great too.
