IAmtnbikr
Saw at the very end of the NBC two-hour Eagles Farewell Tour 1 show the other night they were going to release the DVD on the 14th. I thought it was not a bad program for a network, and presume the DVD will have more on it. If it is like Hell Freezes Over in terms of quality it will be a winner, and the NBC HD broadcast and Dolby sound was not too shabby. dkp
Interesting post. I happened to catch The Eagles on Bravo last night-I'll bet that's the same concert you're talking about. The stage was arranged identically to HFO and there were bits of interviews, etc intertwined with the special on tv, also much like HFO. I noticed that this was produced by Glen Frey, who has been around quite a while. Did he produce HFO as well? Anyway, thanks for the heads up. I had thought about buying this one too, but if the music and everything is nearly the same as HFO, I'm not too sure... David
Tom Adams
That was my knee jerk reaction too David. The HFO DVD has just about every darn Eagles song they ever made on it. Not sure what else they could bring to the table other than interviews and the like. And personally, I could care less what they have to say just as I think most of the interview stuff on the Steely Dan DVD is stoopid even though I love their music. Anyhow...... Should be interesting to see what the new DVD has to offer. Hard to follow up a grand slam home run. Tom

callmeishmael
I'm glad to see some James Gang tunes. I have always liked Joe Walsh.
IAmtnbikr
Thanks for the list. Certainly appears they covered quite a few songs not on HFO, so it will be a worthwhile buy.

colterphoto1
Caught the new Eagles on TV while in FL. The new Joe Walsh track One Day at a Time is destined to be my new theme song. Who would have thought that Joe would be sober for 10 years. Probably saved his life. Michael
Tom Adams
Well alrighty then - I stand corrected. Looks like the new DVD will indeed be a worthy successor to HFO. Guess I need to pass this along as a Father's Day present idea. OH DAMN! I already got a new watch and black underwear for Father's Day. Oh well, I'll just ****** some moola from the wife's purse and buy it myself. LOL Thanks for the track listing info BobbyT!! Tom
