Osinoff
Anyone have experience with Krell integrated 300 ix amp. Running RF 7s in stereo. Want any feedback on this amp.
Guy Landau
I haven't heard the Krell with RF-7's but I heard it driving other speakers. It might sound too bright with Klipsch.
arthurs
May want to check with The Ear, I think he has some Krell running Klipsch. I haven't heard that combo, but owned a Krell amp and they are very exact and very powerful, which could be bright sounding with RF-7's. Then again, it could be spectacular. Any chance you can audition before buying?
fgarib
Hi there, I ran the 400 ix for a little while with my KHorns. Frankly, the amp looks a lot better than it sounds. Don't get me wrong, it's a wonderful amp, but I didn't find it a good match for my speakers. A little on the brighter side. Having said that, the sleek looks of the amp have a lot going for it. Sure looks good in the cabinet, and mine came with the "credit card" remote which is pretty cool on its own. -F
marksdad
bright??? not even close, i do not have thier amps, but i do use thier cd plater, and in combination with my other gear it is the most dynamic, and delicate, presentation i have ever heard, not an ounce of bright, everything is so sweet
sunnysal
I had a FBP300 hooked up to my k-horns and they sounded great, no brightness or glare at all, great bass slam (as expected)...I am not sure about the lower end line from krell though...tony
