theryugobuddy
You have anymore Santana that I "need" to add to my collection. I have the first and greatest hits on album. Danny I love Caravanserai--no real hits, but very representative of the progressive songs and fusion they were doing then--great guitar and sound. The newer one, Supernatural--with "Smooth" is good, too. You can't go wrong with Abraxas, or his early 70's albums, much of which makes up his "greatest hits" era-- If you like "She's Not There", then you will like "Inner Secrets"--two or three pop hits wih maybe too much filler, but similar to Moonflower's poppier side-- I bought "Lotus" , another earlier live one, because of a very favorable review I read, and I did not like it--alot of very noisy keyboards and I didn't think the perfomances weren't half as good as Moonflower. Other than that, most of his later albums have a good one or two songs and alot of filler/ uninspired/ commercial stuff.
dbflash
Thanks. I did like "She's Not There" so I will order Inner Secrets I was wondering about Abraxas. I heard it years ago when it first came out, but couldn't really remember it so I will also order that. Caravanseral will round out my order. Thanks again and keep posting. I love Blues, Jazz and Smooth Jazz. I have really gotten into Jack Johnson, Reed Waddle, Josh Rouse lately. Reed Waddle may just be my suprise album of the year. Danny Hey dB-- Great-- I listened to samples of Johnson, Waddle, and Rouse-- you might like Badly Drawn Boy "...Bewilderbeast" --he sounds alot like them. Great songs throughout with a voice that takes a little getting used to, but very good. i got it based on a thread here. Also, you might like Chris Isaak-- I've got "San Francisco Days" and "Speak of the Devil", which are both great-I didn't really like the whole CD with "Wicked Game" on it- John Prine is somewhat similar to them, too--, my fave is The Missing Years-- And Wilco's "Being There" is stellar-this would be the one to get--2CDs that always get me-- I'm going to check more into Josh Rouse on allofmp3.com--thanks for the tip
