Gnomore
Ok, as much as I would love a KLF-C7 for my center channel, it is WAY to big for the WAF. What are my other choices for smaller centers that still sound good and are fairly closely timbre matched? -Gno
avman
1: hide the c-7 behind a 100" perforated projection screen 2: show her what a 'modified' klf-20 would look like as a center 3: trade in for different model (not the speaker) i'm sure some of our fellow 'klipschers' can give better (or more realistic) answers, i'm jus'funnin',love the c-7 as my center, i've got it under my tv right now, will put it on top of my 36-40" hd sony (by 12/25/01) and shoot the sound thru a 100" perf screen. howzabout a 'cabinet' enclosure w/cloth panel? avman. ------------------ 1-pair klf 30's c-7 center ksps-6 surrounds sony strda-777ES receiver sony playstation 2 dishnetwork model 7200 dishplayer satellite receiver/digital bitstream recorder pioneer dvd player sharp 35"tv panamax max dbs+5 surge protector/power conditioner monster cable interconnects/12 gua.speaker wire a 'teens' sub coming! t-man
If your speaks are really close together near your TV, try running your system in Phantom mode. You may like that. I'm sure the wife will. Otherwise, try and KV3 or a KG2.5/2.2 Will not be as good, but your closest next best thing. Will have to find used, though. Cruzer
My wife also says that tha thing on top fo the tv (C-7) looks to big. I ask her to close her eyes and listen, she now agrees to the C-7's location... ------------------ Cruzer
TRklipsch
I had been debating the same question for my Klf-20s and opted to go with the slightly smaller RC-7. I upgraded from a KV-3 and let me say that I am very happy with this new match! The RC-7 puts out incredible sound and matches well with the klf-20s. Now I just need to upgrade my KSW-200 sub. Like the new RSW series but am still leaning toward a SVS Ultra. Good luck.
aab3rd
C-7 only way to go! Your wife will get used to it, mine did.
Gnomore
avman: lol.. The wife wasn't too fond of idea #3. . Maybe I can sneak in a c7 and tell her that I have been feeding my old center very well This message has been edited by Gnomore on 09-21-2001 at 01:54 PM
