KlipsDude
Looks like a real over-kill for that small cone.
D-MAN
All that work for such a tiny little cone which can't move very much anyway, sort of sad isn't it? It tends to illustrate the inadequacies of the driver, don't you think? An exercise in timewasting, me thinks. P.S. absolutely LOVED "Brazil" - one of my all time favorites! The anti-litter lady's little dog with the tape over its ***, utterly BRILLIANT, and the art direction was to die for! DM
Colin
great response though, down to 50Hz!!!!
Allan Songer
I think the two greatest films of the last 30 in terms of Production Design and Art Direction when you consider BUDGET are "Brazil" and "The Hudsuker Proxy," with "Brazil" getting the nod. I think "Brazil" was the best film of the last 30 years, with "Raging Bull" a close second.
D-MAN
To futher complete the hijacking of this thread... On the subject of movies with a distinctive vision (art direction) Brazil being my ultimate pick, I would also volunteer "Gattica" and "Blade Runner", and "The Matrix". The degree to which these showed a believable and consistent view, however disturbing, is impressive to say the least. DM
Allan Songer
I agree that those are terrific. All had significantly higher Art Department budgets than Brazil, so that's why I give it and Hudsuker so much praise--both wre LOW budget films. D-MAN
There is a French movie called "The City of Lost Children" or something like that with Ron Pearlman in it that "looks" quite a bit like "Brazil". The resemblance is unmistakable. DM
