3dzapper
How are the grills removed from Belles? I have a pair that I have to sand and refinish. Rick
Al Klappenberger
Here a picture of the inside of my Belle with the riser under the top section to lift it for the Trachorn mod. Simply remove the nuts from the studs from underneath and the two wood screw into the front on each side. The top will lift off and the grill fram and horns will be free. Al K. Frzninvt
The disassembly is the easy part, just wait until you have to remove the thousands of tiny staples on those grills. Get your fingers and angled and straight needle nose pliers ready! They made them to stay on!
3dzapper
Thanks Al. Luckily Frzin', the grill cloth is in really nice shape.[] The cabs finish is dry and had some sort of solvent spilled on them making it uneven and runny looking. I want to remove the lower grills so I can clean, sand and reoil without damaging them. Rick
