T-35 vs. T-350

What are the differences between the EV T-35 and T-350?

If you are talking about the alnico T-350 and not the ST-350A or ST-350B, it has about 5 db more sensitivity and extends much higher in frequency than the T-35. A pair of real alnico T-350's usually sell for $350.00 to $500.00 on eBay.

Thanks for the reply. I doubt that the speakers that have fallen into my hands are "real alnico." They have rectangular magnets that are approximately 3.0" x 2.75".

I know that real alnico magnets have a mystique about them and command higher prices, but I recall reading that the ceramic or "mud" magnets perform as well. Any information or links to information, such as EV's specifications of the T-35 and its several variations, would be appreciated.

Using my DMM they each show 6.2 ohms of resistance.

Sounds like you have some ceramic T-350Bs. Those are very much like the T-35 in performance. Below is a picture of the T-350 and a T-35. The T-350 is the one on the left.

Attached is technical info on the ST-350-B. Someday soon I'll rescan with an option which might descreen the photos. But you have something to look at today.

I've only seen a picture of an ST-350-A though not a very good picture. It was similar but didn't have the protruding arcs or cheeks.

Here is a picture of the ST-350A. This one has a round ceramic magnet inside a large metal housing. A lot of times these are advertised on eBay as being alnico but they are not.

The attached file shows the front and back of the drivers in question.

It now appears to me that these are a version of T-35; not the larger T-350.

Those would be the T-35A same as the Klispch K-77M.

I must be wrong about the 350A. The horn certainly looks the same. Like I said, it wasn't a good picture.
