HARMON KARDON TRIO A224 ?

I am not very familiar with the Harmon Kardon vintage gear but I am

looking at an INTEGRATED HARMON KARDON TRIO A-224. All I know is that

it has EL34 output tubes and that it also has a tube phono pre built

in. It is rated at 12wpc. I was wondering if anyone here is familiar

with this HK amp? Any info much apprecitated. Trash or treasure?

Yup those are EL84's and 12 WPC would be about right. It looks like it would be a reasonably good sounding integrated heck it's even tube rectified. Just don't get sunk to far into an obscure tube unit like this resale is never all that great on this type vintage integrated.

Thanks for all the feedback. I bought a subwoofer amplifier with built

in crossover from the same guy for my custom sub. I am talking to him

about the amp feeling him out for a price but I wanted some input. I

have been reading about this amp and some feel the iron is anemic for

this amp but I am still interested.
