Dream Theater HD

I just got the Dish942 a couple of weeks ago. I haven't had much time to sit in front of the TV lately so I've been recording quite a bit. I caught up on some of my TV watching last night with Dream Theater Live in Bodukan. (or something like that).

I've never listened to 'em before, but recorded/watched them based on some comments made on this forum.

Wow! Heavy stuff, I must say! ...quite a talented buch of dudes -- very proficient at their instruments. It reminds me of the VERY riff-oriented stuff a-la Dave Mustaine (back years ago and when he still did drugs) ...and riff-oriented is just the way I like it.

Good stuff.

Oh yeah, the 1080i looked killer and the 5.1 surround kicked butt too.

Live at Budokan...

Everytime I hear this line... I think of Cheap Trick...... A fun band live tallent wise, but showman ship was a 10. Really lots of energy too. (I am not so sure the guitar or drummer ever didn't have a cigartette lit.) LOL.. On CD... Amazing!

late 70's - 80's at its best!! LOL..

I want you to want me..
