K-Horn Review from Stereo Times 2001

This article has probably been posted before or maybe even recently as I have not been very diligent reading posted articles lately but I just found it while smurfin round the net. I especially liked the "local boy makes good" credit at the end.

That just goes to show you even a audio guy didnt set the K-Horns up right and then goes on to blast the Ks in the review.If someone wants to review something i think he should at least set it up right i mean they dont review a high performance car after they put on 30 dollar tires and bad gas in it do they? For twenty something years, i was in situations where my Khorns were on the short wall. I loved them!!!

Then, after coming to the forum, I moved one of them so they were across the long wall. It was like coming to America! I ain't going back!!!!!!!

The Richard Heyser review in Audio, 1980 remains the definitive K-horn

review. I need to dig it out & scan it, unless one of our fellow

members already has done so. It's buried deep in my paper archives,

somewhere...

Interesting, I thought he presented a very favorable representation of his experience. What in the review made you feel he adopted a pejorative position?
