Marvel
While down at Emory last week, I was browsing through one of those fancy, smarmy upscale decorating mags, placed all over the hospital waiting rooms. The mag is Altlanta Style and Design. One of the ads looked like it had Klispch HT gear in the ad, so I "borrowed" the mag and made a lousy scan. The pick is from the Klispch website itself, showing the RVX42 series. They do Klipsch ceiling mounted and so on. Businesses in New York, Atlanta, and Los Angeles. http://www.linkyourhouse.com Oh yeah, I am not affiliated with these guys in any way. Daddy Dee
Interesting advertisment. I've not watched a television hanging on the wall, so far, but still wonder what it would be like. Don't know if I'd like it or perhaps acquire a taste for it. Thanks, Bruce.
skonopa
I tell you what, though. Those little buggers actually sound quite good, though. I sure was impressed with those RVX-42s when I heard them in Indy this past summer.

DD, I've got a flat panel TV mounted over my fireplace (with RVX speakers, of course)... I wasn't sure I would like it either, but I have to say, I'm spoiled now. Best investment ever, and makes the room look twice as big. Plus I can enjoy the fireplace at the same time without having to look at one or the other. Daddy Dee
Thanks Amy. Hadn't thought about the room seeming larger. A conventional TV does take up quite a bit of space.

You guys should have an in-house photographer and Heritage guy! Michael

I had a customer that wanted a flat-panel tv over the fireplace, and I set him up w/ a projector and screen-bigger picture at 1/2 the price, and the floorstanding Klipsches sound great !! dougdrake
Amy - Perhaps you can shed a light on this, as an actual owner of a FP over a FP... my wife and I just can't figure out how that can be a comfortable viewing angle, with it up so high, when you are seated... Moderators Amy Posted October 15, 2005 Moderators Share Posted October 15, 2005 Well, it really helps to have a big room. The furniture sits a little farther back than if the TV was at eye level. Plus it's situated so the couch is at a 90 degree angle to the TV wall, so it's very comfy to lie down and watch with your head on a pillow/arm rest. Then the other viewing seat is a recliner, which also makes it easy. Easier, even, than if the TV was at eye level--just recline and you're naturally looking up higher. Finally, there's a love seat at the opposite far end of the room, which is rarely used, but still not a bad spot.
wheelman
I like it. Anything to give my space more space would be great. Amy has got the right idea. It sounds like you have a great setup Amy. Yeah you don't have to break your neck to watch the tv with it up a bit higher when your kickin back. ( the best )..
