That Eminent Technology sub-sub woofer ain't no fan---it's a rotary gas accellerator!

If it comes with an ice crusher attachment, I'll take two.

There's another mechanically driven woofer that was introduced a few

years ago. I think it was a woofer cone driven from the rear by a

linear motor. No magnet or voice coil--just a box-mounted cone which

could put out square waves.

No kidding! Every time I am asked why my speakers are "SO BIG", I always fall back on good ol' science. After one hears my speakers after asking such questions, I tell them that if they can find that good or better sound in a smaller package, to be sure to let me know.

I have yet to receive any replies on the matter.
