Which is better for use in rebuilding a tube intergrated amplifier like a scott or fisher? What type of resistors did the scott and fishers come with from the factory? If precision is required, metal film will have an advantage. I would think that the intended roll in any application would play a part here, up to and including whether they needed to be non-inductive... Craig with my electrical skills your job rebulding tube amps is 100% safe, LOL. I have about a million more questions about trying to rebuild this poor fisher X-100 of mine this winter, just cant stand too let it set there and go too waste. Go to www.mouser.com the Carbon films are part number 293-XXX and 293-XXX the XXX are the value so 10k would be 293-10k or 294-10k a 10 ohm would be 293-10R and so on.
