DrWho Posted November 8, 2005 Share Posted November 8, 2005 I suppose I'm technically a professional music person who owns klipsch speakers....made $100 after costs to mix for a ladies retreat using klipsch PA speakers [] Man the things you learn when a group of women get together and act like there are no males around! Talk about a competition to be the daintiest! And for those of you that snicker at the gig...it was very educational and probably one of the most stressful. One slight mistake could be the difference between women crawling all over you and women chewing you out for being incompetant, lol. Then again...I suppose older women crawling all over you is a scary thought too....haha. Crap, now I forget the names of some of the big hot shots in the recording industry that are using klipsch at home and/or in the studio (as a referencing monitor of course). You know you have a real good mix when it sounds good on both horns and direct radiators. I wonder if my old textbook doesn't have the reference in it... I don't mean to start rumours but I think Shaq uses klipsch too - just one of those things I noticed when reading about his very short lived time in the studio (dunno why he was brought up in my class! lol) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
