Sorry no mods just a BIG power transformer to make the sub work.

Klipsch could do this,I am sure its not a great deal after all.Just they would have to see more interest from potential customers.

If they got 200,300 or more posts on the board asking for RSW15's then they could make some 220V versions.

Okay, I don't count for 300, but after all now only 299 potential customers have to queue up:

There is NO REASON AT ALL why Europeans (and people in other 220 Volt countries) shouldn't be able to purchase an RSW-15 (if it's really that great).

So please Klipsch people beeeeeeee nice and don't forget your fans overseas.Wavey.gif

Based on our experience in the market, demand for a sub the size and output of the RSW-15 would not be great enough to justify the expense involved in building the model. Our Sales Managers for the region have chosen to have the RSW-12 in 230 volt version for their market. If demand appears sufficient, we may revise this plan, but have not had such feedback from our in-country distributors. We really try to make good decisions on these matters. Not always accurate, but we do work to call it right.

But since I will be getting the RF-7s, RC-7, and RS-7s, I wanted the RSW-15 so the hold thing would match.

Now I am thinking of getting the Rx-7s and not getting a subwoofer. If Klipsch shows signs of the RSW-15 exporting, then I'll be happy, if not, I'll then have to get the RSW-12.

Another problem: I want the cherry color for the Rx-7s, but if I cannot get the RSW-15, I'll have to get the RSW-12 which only comes in black and that would not match with the rest of the set. I don't know what to do. Frown.gif

BobG,

I can imagine that you ARE doing your best to please overseas customers, but are your distibutors as committed as you are? In another thread I described my experience with our local distributor when I had some question concerning a blown La Scala tweeter. It's very probable that this WAS a singular exception, but let me ask if it is you or the distributor who tries to promote Klipsch in advertisements on audio fares etc.? When was the last time that you ran an advertising campaign in this country? A dealer friend told me that one reason why for example B&W are so successful is the fact that they put advertisements in all the big audio/music magazines on a monthly basis. And Klipsch? Why does the company have such a bad reputation. Could it be that your distributors are anything but wholeheartedly supporting your products? Where are the dealers that actively promote Klipsch by organizing wokshops etc.?

I know that I am not really in a position to judge the work of your distributors, but it's a shame that your great products (and HOW much do I love my Khorns!!!) don't get the support they unquestionably deserve.

Sorry for my anger/frustration, but that's how I feel right now.
