Here is a picture of my '64 Khorns and recent acquisition--'70's

Cornwalls. Very proud! I drove 10 hours round trip last

fall to pick up the Khorns (I let my lovely wife talk me into selling

my first Khorns--she called them "bachelor speakers"--in about

'97. Klipsch speakers are now the only mistress my wife will

allow me to have.) I will be painting the walls and adding

theater seats in short order. I also have to add two wall plates

for my last speaker connections; then my project should be

complete. I have had my projector for about a year and while I

only have about 300 hours on it--with few exceptions I only watch

movies through my projector. I have 5 year old triplets, I

don't have time for much else.

Thanks to all who indulged my rantings of late and gave such great

advice through the forum and through pm's. You, and the other

users on the forum who rely on you know who you are (I fear I would

leave someone out if I tried listing everyone). You are the

engines that run this forum, the stars so to speak, and this is one

rube who appreciates your willingness to help.

Double J I am almost embarrassed to tell you that I won these on Ebay

for the unheard of price of $504--not even close to my maximum

bid. My bid held up for 2 days. Somehow or another this

pair fell under the radar. There were only 7 bids total. I

was out of the house the night the auction finished, and given some

shipping concerns of mine and the seller, I was going to quit

bidding. Imagine my shock and surprise when I got home and found

out that I had won the auction. This is a beautiful

pair. All praise goes to the seller--he did a great job preparing

these for shipment.

The Khorns in Rochester, are those the ones in Rochester, Minnesota? They look very nice.

I can not believe you stole them for that price. Congratulations!

I guess the real question is, "Where are they going to be placed?" They obviously can not stay where they are now.

Are you going to use them as rear surrounds?
