Hey Bonzo did you change the diaphragms yourself or did Bob do it. I thought about doing it to just one pair to see if i like it, and if i don't like it can i put the original diaphragms back or do they break when you change them.

I thought this might add a little more to the top end, that is where i need a little boost, I like the forte ll but after hearing Colterphoto's Lascalas i want a little more in the high freq. ?

Hard to explain, when a cymbal is hit and you listen on a Lascala it sounds like metal was hit, with the forte ll it just sounds a little more dull ?

I think a big part of it is my old ears ,but i did hear it on the Lascalas ,Damm i was perfectly happy with the Forte's till i heard Colters monsters ,Still happy with the forte's but their is always room for improvment right?

Also what was the cost if you don't mind saying, or Pm me please, thank you.

Hey dtel,

I sent you a PM. I forgot to mention that changing to new diaphragms shouldn't hurt your old ones. As mentioned in my PM, you just have to be very careful and take your time when doing so. You may want to get some additional advice from other members like Michael or Bob.

Cheers,

Mark
