Looking for matches for new RF-7's

I have just purchased two new RF-7's now looking for where to go from here to add to or compliment existing.

Current Sytem:

HK635 no other Amps at this time

Two RF-7 Fronts

Rc-35 Center

RF-25's for rear Surrounds

RSW 10 Sub

Main use is for HT. I was wondering if I should be looking at buying two more RF-7's to replace the RF25's or what should I do next.

Aslo shloud the rear R-25's be off the ground or is on hte floor alright?

Rememer wallet hurting a little yet form RF-7's, but my ears feel great

I tried to post here earlier but couldn't. Anyways I've had the RC-35 and 7. The 7 is the way to go. I know all Reference speakers are supposed to work together, but the RC-7 is a much better sonic match to your new floorstanders. I could hear a big difference when playing pink noise during callibration, the 35 just sounds different. The next thing to do would be to get a sub that will keep up with those RF-7's, but which sub is fodder for another thread. Carl

brokenarrow1,

I would upgrade to the RC-7 and keep the RF-25's for side surrounds. If you are pleased with the thump the RSW 10 makes (which I think you would) I would save up and purchase a 7 channel AVR (edit: if your HK isn't already) and maybe use your RC-35 for a rear 6th channel (and even try and find another one at a good price later on for 7.1)[:)]

I have a pair of RF-3's that I use as side surrounds and they are lifted a foot off the ground ( with RS-7's on top of them to use as "b"surrounds[H]) to get the horn tweeters the same height as my RF-7's (which are on 3 inch stands). I can post a pic.
