VERY nice!!! You should enjoy looking as well as listening to those for a long time to come. The light oak will probably decrease any intrusion into your windows' lines of sight.

I have always liked the way K-horns sound the same almost anywhere in the room, and continue to be realistic when heard from other rooms (a point Heyser made in his classic review in Audio). So, I've never been a seeker of sweet spots. I have only one good ear, and I do fine listening from a couch at the side of the room. It seems like many others wouldn't be happy with that, however.

Any ideas on fair market value and top price?

I don't (if you're asking me), but others do. I believe I've seen $1,500 to $2500 mentioned on the forum recently, but others should chime in. Those seem to be rather tops to me, judging by the pic. You don't have to pay for shipping and they don't have to arrange for packaging, but I don't know which way that cuts.

tjnif- The letter "p" in your serial # would indicate a 1976 model. Supposed to be a good vintage.

Sputnik- Those look like beauties. When you spread the cost

out over the next twenty or thirty years it works out to 20 or 30 cents

per day.[:D]

Get em!!
