Macallan
I am considering adding a Juicy Music Peach to my system for 2 channel listening. I am currently using an B&K Reference 200.2 and a Yamaha 2300 as a pre with RF-7s as mains. Has anyone used the Peach with the B&K? How do they sound together? How noticable of an improvement will the Peach make over my Yamaha?
NOSValves
I've never heard your gear but my guess would be the difference would be substancial.
Cal Blacksmith
My pre is a VTL not a JM product but when I went from a Yamaha pre to my current unit the sound stage widened up and got deeper and clearer and more defined. I would expect the same if you went JM.
frankphess
I too would think it will be a very noticable difference. I switched in similar fashion from a receiver to a Bottlehead foreplay with an Anthem MCA-20 for 2 channel listening. Everything improves as others have said. Your 7's will thank you for it. Macallan
Has anyone heard the Peach B&K combo?
Daddy Dee
No B&K experience, but I am seriously impressed with the Peach.
BS Button
I have got a Peach coming....na, na, na, na,na,na. Maybe I'll be able to hold the B&K amp for a couple of days and give it a listen. The Scott 130 on the B&K is fine, open, but rather bright+ I think the 130 I'm using needs some TLC. BS
