myram
My SVS 16-46pc is on it's way, and will be here on Tuesday. Boy what a long 5 days this is going to be with no subwoofer, and the Phantom Menace and Mummy Returns just sitting in the rack waiting to be watched. I ended up finding a SVS used and in great condition with all original packaging, manual, and boxes.......the whole nine yards. We hammered out a deal, and here it comes. Man I can't wait......5 days and counting....... ------------------ Home Theater Page This message has been edited by myram on 10-23-2001 at 10:04 PM
eq_shadimar
Congradulations. You will enjoy both those movies with that sub. I have a 20-39 and both moives really rock with it. Be careful about the THX opening on TPM. The is some really deep bass on there that will bottom out the sub. The rest of teh movie is fine though. myram
Extension That is the one word that I have for it so far. This thing goes low and deep. I watched the podrace scene from TPM and it was incredible. My whole loveseat was vibrating....I was "feeling" the movie. I went back to the THX intro and pushed the volume way up.......the SVS handled it fine. When the globe blew up....so did my living room!! I can't wait to have some more time to play some more bass heavy scenes, and try out some music with it. I posted some pictures on my website showing the SVS, take a look if your interested. More to come after some more playtime. ------------------ Home Theater Page
