RF-7 and speaker matching

Picked up a pair of rf-7's and I'm curious what you all think about pairing these with the new

reference series center channel and surrounds since the discontinued

RC-7 and RS-7's won't be around much longer.

You should be on the hunt for closeout deals on the RC-7 and RS-7's but I would imagine the timbre would be similar on the newer models so that they would blend with the RF-7's. If you want a seamless match though I would go with the RC-7 and RS-7's.

I'd try to find the matching RC-7 while there are still some out there. By the time you find out if the new Reference center will work, the current ones will be even harder to find.

The problem resides with cashflow right now...or I would get them in a heartbeat before they are impossible to find.

...The centers and surrounds should match well with current product, BUT I

have not had a chance to hear them "mixed" like that.

IMHO, finding a good deal on an RC-7 now at a dealer, or taking a chance of finding a good used one will be the best bang for your buck scenario. That being said, that new center channel looks interesting [] and should match, but at a higher cost.
