thebes
Winter, no winter here, warmest Janaury I can remember. Was looking forward to having my tube gear keep me cozy all winter, but I can't complain too much because that just means I'll have some money to pick up some tunes you folks have been sharing with us. Format's simple: Name of artist or group, name of album, type of music as best you can (rock, blues etc.), and recording format (cd, lp etc.) As usual I'll start it off with: B.B King, "LA Midnight", blues, lp Universally known and admired, the real king (top my mind anyways) has put out a massive number of albums over the years of which I own axactly three. Not complaining too much, though, because this one a good one. Put out in 1972 it has numerous guest appearances from people like Taj Mahal and Joe Walsh, that classic Chicago Blues sound and the wailing refrains of Miss Lucille herself. So what do you have to share this week?

sputnik
Where have nicholtl, itsawomanthing, and grog been lately. I miss them. Play some more blues. Some funky-punky-dirty-boogie blues. theryugobuddy
Kicking Television - Live in Chicago -- Wilco . 2 CDs of live Wilco which is alternative folk country rock. If you like Wilco , you'll love this. They put a new spin on all the studio versions of these songs. And the new guitarist plays that dissident fire type solo stuff--he's very very good. Love this one--
