WMcD
There was a fellow on e-bay selling some 1971 issues of Stereo Review. One purportedly contained a review of the Belle. I checked at the local library. The only review of the Belle I found was a squib in New Products. (Also shown are products by Marantz, Pickering, and Roberts.) There was some time before closing so I browsed through th 1972 issues. The only Klipsch related material was an article entitled "Form folllows function in the uncoventional New Speakers". The Khorn is in there with several others. The material is attached for your weekend reading. 0.8 megabytes. seti
Thanks! I would be interested in any Belle reviews or articles if anyone would like to post them : )
Klipschguy
As always, thank you Gil. It is indeed interesting to see which designs have survived. The multi-sided ball design thing was ridiculous. Andy
boom3
I once had that issue, sigh. The Design Acoustics DA-12 was one of those "let's make a speaker like a crystal shape and see what happens-oh yeah, and we're trying to simulate a point source." I heard a pair about that time and my memory is that it was if anything less open and transparent than some lower-price speakers. The DA-6, which was more conventional, actually measured better, although I never heard it.
