Parrot
Anybody at audiogon write you yet, Daddy? If I were in the market for La Scalas I would have been all over these just like Andy's butt. Hmm, not sure that sounds like what I meant . . .

Me Loves Khorns
Great looking speakers, good luck Daddy Dee. I bet my New - Old tubes would sound great on them, alas, the money tree is getting rather bare around here. Paul

Parrot
I hear that the guy who bought these is going to "restore" them to the factory look by applying birch veneer.
Daddy Dee
Gentlemen, Thanks for your support through. It was good knowing I had some references for a buyer. The buyer will be driving them with a recently and nicely rebuilt vintage tube amp. BS Button, thanks. Yeh, I had that trip to Memphis in mind, thinking we should meet at the Rendevous for ribs. Parrot. Now that is funny. Restore to factory finish!
Lostinozz
Heh, you shouldn't need an excuse to eat ribs at the Rendevous....worth a trip to Memphis on it's own! Had some ribs there right before a Stones concert not too long ago. My 12 year old son wanted to see the Stones for an early birthday present so we pigged out before we rocked out.
