Kain
Is it okay to place a SVS CS-Ultra in the middle of a side wall? Or is it better to place it in a corner? I am asking cuz I don't think I will be able to place it in a corner. ------------------ Home Theater (getting soon): TV: Samsung SP-43L2FX (43" LCD Rear Projection HDTV) DVD Player: Toshiba SD-900E (Progressive Scan DVD Player) VCR: Sony SLV-ED100 (HiFi VCR) Receiver: Denon AVC-A11SR (230V version of Denon AVR-4802) Speakers - Center: Klipsch RC-7 Mains: Klipsch RF-7 Surrounds: Klipsch RS-7 Subwoofer: SVS CS-Ultra w/Samson S1000 amplifier
DrPyro
It shouldn't be a problem, you might loose a dB or two. But that shouldn't be a problem with the Ultra. I plan on doing the same thing when i get the Ultra... Did you get the EQ (ART or Symetrix)? -DrPyro ------------------ Receiver: Denon AVR-3801 DVD: Denon DVD-1000 Front: RF-3's Rear: RS-3's Center: RC-3 SubW: KSW-
TheEAR
Alongside the any side wall should give good results, the Ultra is capable of very large output. You dont need the extra corner boost. I tried the Ultras(and have many subs)working alongside the front and side walls. The bass is more even then if the subs sits in a corner(bass very BIG in one place and weak in abother spot).
