Speedball
Has anyone heard titanium diaphrams in the Rf7's ? If so can this be done easily without getting an electronics whiz to do it and are the parts readily available? An electronics guy did my 4.2's and the detail is incredible! Speedball
Surely you do not have all those memorized ? There needs to be a dictionary or something for things like that. Years ago I saw a very fine looking lady driving a bright yellow Trans-Am with a plate that read 2HOT4U. I noticed Klipsch has put Titanium diaphrams in the new line of speakers plus what I hear from my old 4.2's makes me think new Titanium diaphrams in my RF7's could be a good thing. If they are available and are easy to put in maybe I could do it myself and save shipping somewhere to have it done. Has anyone else noticed a difference in the sound with new diaphrams ? Daddy Dee
hmmm WAF is not on that list. I wonder if WAF is common to Klipsch or other audio forums.

djk
"Titanium diaphrams in my RF7's could be a good thing." At the risk of repeating myself, they come with titanium. http://www.klipsch.com/media/Products/3.RF-7.pdf
Marvel
Like Dennis said: The RF-7 utilizes a combination of professional grade materials and advanced horn technology for a smooth response and consistent coverage pattern. The new Reference Series flagship's 1.75" titanium dome compression driver is coupled to an 8" square Tractrix® Horn and powered by an unusually large, video-shielded 22oz. magnet. This combination offers the speed and accuracy needed to deliver clear, accurate, non-fatiguing high frequencies and upper midrange frequencies at any volume level. This design approach is so efficient that it virtually eliminates the most common cause of driver failure excessive energy.
