IB Slammin
Been invited to listen to some VTL 300b's this eve. Think they are a David Manley design. Should I look forward to it? Anyone use or have used them? Terry
richieb
Not quite the 300's but within the last month I acquired a pair of VTL Tiny Triode monoblocks, 25 WPC in triode and 45 in tetrode. A quad of EL84 and pair of 12AT7 in each. They are very, very sweet. Some reviews have said these are the finest amps VTL ever made. Mine are part of the limited edition, #76 out of 500. They are beauties.

Anyone use or have used them? Terry That should be very interesting! I believe the VTL is an amp designed to run single-ended or push-pull! Please tell us your experiance and the other associated componets used in the system! I also have listened to Manley Mahi's a similar design to the tiny triodes these are very musical amplifiers highly recomended along with the Stingray. rsp1068
So did you go listen Terry? What did you think? I run a VTL pre and VTL ST150 amp, and they absolutely manhandle my 7's. I am amazed at the low end tubes are capable of.
